  • What is it?

    My Land Rover Blue Tit is turning 40 years old, so I am putting on a festival-esque birthday party for her at Eastnor Castle to celebrate her becoming a classic!

  • Can I sleep there?

    Of course! There are camping, glamping and roof tent tickets you can purchase. 

  • Will there be food?

    Yes sir! Plenty of yummy options for you all to enjoy… even the vegans! 

  • What happens if the weather isn’t fab?

    A bit of rain never hurt anyone… bring your wellies and a coat. After a year and a half of planning, a bit of rain is not going to stop this show… unless the weather is so horrific it is actually unsafe.

  • I don’t have a Land Rover, can I still come?

    Yes, absolutely you can! However, if you have a Toyota, please remain home :)

  • Can I buy a ticket on the day?

    If we have tickets left, you can buy tickets on the day by visiting overintherover.com

  • Do I need a general admission if I have bought an overnight ticket?

    Yes. All attendees will need a general admission ticket to enter the party.

  • Are dogs welcome?

    Go crazy, bring the dogos! But if your dog is going to bark at everything and bite everyone, maybe not… Please bring poo bags if you are bringing the mutt :)

  • Will there be a charger for my electric car?

    Absolutely not.

  • What is the closest train station?

    Nearest train stations direct from Paddington

    Ledbury 2 miles: Journey Time 2.45hrs
    Great Malvern 8 miles: Journey Time 2.30hrs
    Gloucester 19 miles: Journey Time 1.50hrs

  • Can I enter my vehicle into the parade on the day?

    Unfortunately not. If you would like to enter your vehicle, please fill out the details in the ticket section of the website.

  • Can I bring my baby?

    Of course you can! We will be providing baby changing facilities as you’d expect.

  • What time will the entertainment be going on till in the evening?

    Our main stage performances will conclude at 23:00, but there may be a bit more fun to be had till 02:00…

  • What time will Blue Tit be receiving her new registration plate?

    Scheduling will be confirmed nearer to the party, and we will keep you up to date via email and through the official @bluetitsbirthdayparty Social Media.

  • When will I get my ticket?

    Tickets will be emailed to the email address you provided us shortly in advance of the event. Then just bring that QR code to the gate, and we will scan you in. (Check your junk before getting in a flap).

  • Do I need to print my ticket/ QR code?

    Nope- save yourself the faff trying to get the printer to un-jam, and just show us your ticket on the gate.

  • Do children need a ticket?

    Children aged 0-5 do not require a ticket, are admitted into the event free of charge. 

    Children aged 5-14 will require a ‘Children’s Ticket’. 

  • Will there be veggie and vegan food options?

    Yes.

  • Can I bring my campervan / motorhome to camp in?

    Unless it is a Land Rover that has been converted, no. You can purchase a camping ticket and come and pitch your ground tent in our camping area. You can purchase a glamping ticket and enjoy a real bed and proper showers. Or, you purchase our roof tent camping ticket and park up and camp in your roof tent.

  • Can I bring my own BBQ/ gas stove if I am camping?

    You are not going to be happy with this, and I apologies in advance, but the masters of all: the Health and Safety people of doom have said a firm no :(

  • What time does the party open?

    Saturday: 11:00-23:00 

    Sunday: Campers need to be out by 10:00

  • Will I be able to drive off-road there?

    YES- we have the wonderful Land Rover Experience Centre bringing 3 (New) Defenders for you to have a play with! Sign-up will be free and on the day. 

  • I am a business and I want to trade at Blue Tit’s Birthday Party, how do I do that?

    Firstly, thank you, we are flattered! We have vendor applications and a sponsor form at the top of the website. Pop your details in there, and we will be in touch A.S.A.P. 

  • I have applied for a Parade. When will I find out if I have been successful?

    We will be in touch with you nearer the time if you have been successful in your application.

  • How will the Parade work?

    All vehicles taking part in the parade will have forward parking. You will be informed as to the time you need to start your engines (fingers crossed) and make your way over to the Parade Ring.

  • Is it possible to get a refund?

    All tickets are non refundable. In the event of cancellation all money paid can be used to purchase tickets for a future event.

    We can not offer refunds if you are unable to make it to the event or on the basis of inclement weather. The Event reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings and days without being liable to pay any compensation whatsoever.
